Active Autumn for the WI

WI logoChristine Porter writes; the middle week of September was quite a busy one for some of our members. Firstly, Henstridge WI held their annual Croquet & Cream Tea afternoon at Henstridge golf course. Several of our members attended this and I'm pleased to report that our Sue Anderson collected the decorated wooden spoon for coming second in the croquet competition.

Moviola - "The Hatton Garden Job"

MoviolaThe Village Hall at Milborne Port continues it's Autumn/Winter Moviola season with the screening on Friday 19th October 2018 of The Hatton Garden Job (Certificate 15) (93 minutes).

Over the Easter weekend in 2015, a small team of experienced and elderly burglars broke into the basement vaults at The Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company and stole millions of pounds in gold, cash and jewellery.  The incident has been called the "largest burglary in English history."
