Wyatt Homes have contacted the Parish Council about their Reserved Matters application at Wheathill Lane which is under consideration by Somerset Council following submission of amended plans, which responded to a number of consultee comments received during the planning process.
As part of their site preparation works, separate from implementation of any planning permission, it is necessary to carry out further survey work and some remedial repairs to an existing sewer in the highway of Wheathill Lane that runs along the front of the site and extends eastwards before discharging as an outfall into the existing watercourse. This work will involve a crew from Clear View Surveys being on site in Wheathill Lane from the afternoon of Monday 9th February for the rest of the week to clean out the pipe system by high pressure jet flushing. They will then be returning week commencing 16th February to carry out the remedial lining work to the sewer system and will likely be on site for most of that week as well.
