News From the Council Chamber - February 2018

Redcliffe Homes

Public question time was attended by over 20 residents, representing the working party opposed to the development at Wheathill Lane, making their case that the Parish Council should totally oppose the planning application for a housing development on land adjacent to Wheathill Lane. The Parish Council’s response to the revised application has already been submitted which recommended refusal in its present form but acknowledged that if further changes were made, it could provide benefit to the village. The Parish Council have not heard from the majority of residents within the village and would welcome any feedback.

Churchyard Paths

Agreement was made for a contractor to begin a two phase refurbishment of the Churchyard paths which will be part paid for by the Parish Council and part by the Church. As a closed Churchyard, the Parish Council have the responsibility for its maintenance.
