A303 Upgrade Consultation

Highways England logoHighways England are currently consulting on the proposal to upgrade the A303 between Sparkford and Ilchester to a dual carriageway. The consultation brochure ia available as a download here and below is the link to the on-line consultation.

This is a statutory consultation is your opportunity to express your views on the design of the proposed scheme in advance of the application for a Development Consent Order (DCO) to authorise construction of the project. The consultation closes on 9th March 2018.

Milborne Port Opera Double Bill

Fairtrade pop up Café at the Primary School

We can do this by changing the way trade works through better prices, decent working conditions and a fair deal for farmers and workers in developing countries. During Fairtrade Fortnight (26 February - Sunday 11 March) campaigners, businesses, schools and places of worship show their support for the farmers and workers who grow our food in developing countries.

Primary School wants to learn more about village history

mpps-logoRebecca Eyres writes; Hello I am the new Acting Headteacher at the village school. I joined the school in September 2015 as the Deputy Headteacher. I am very excited to have taken on this new role and to have the opportunity to learn more about Milborne Port. All of the staff and governors here at Milborne Port Primary School form a strong, hardworking and caring team and we are all committed to our school aim of “Building a Foundation for Life.” We are very proud of our pupils and their attitude towards their learning.
