WI look forward to some bling

WI logoWe were pleased to welcome another prospective new member to our meeting in October. She said she really enjoyed the evening, as did the rest of us. We were treated to a 'British Isles Musical Quiz' by the very talended Adelaide Brown and her friend, Liz, who played the keyboard.   They played over 20 tunes which had an association with parts of the country and we were encouraged to sing along which we did - I'm sure we must have been heard outside by people queuing up for their fish & chips.

news-800pxWe have just had a communication to the website from Nikki Cox who writes "We are desperately seeking somewhere to shoot. We are happy to sort free vermin control for any local farmers or land owners, in return for permission to shoot (air rifles only) on their land.
