Parish Council Vacancy

town hallPlease note that a vacancy on the Parish Council has arisen. Please see here for further details on how this vacancy will be filled.

Website content management support needed

MilbornePortLogo-HighRes with textThis community website, which went live in 2012 is intended to support communications in the village. Its construction and maintenance costs are borne by the Parish Council and the council has its own pages for which it is responsible. The contents of the main site (mainly news pages and diary), however, are kept editorially independent of the council.

When the website went live, it had several people supporting and willing to edit content, however, maintenance of the main site content, excluding the heritage and Parish Council pages has now fallen largely to a single individual.

Unless other people come forward to help maintain the site content, there is an increasing risk that content will be missed; already the August newsletter has not been created due to holiday conflicts.

If anyone thinks they might like to help, please get in touch with the site administrator and help keep the community website alive.
