Tudor Banquet

news-800pxMost folk in Milborne Port know of the strong relationship between Sir Walter Ralegh and both Sherborne Castles. In this 400th year after his death, we are presenting a fantastic Tudor Banquet at the Memorial Church Hall, Digby Road, Sherborne. Doors open at 7:30 for an 8pm start on 6th October.

Tickets are £30 from Winstone's books and the Sherborne Tourist Info centre. We promise a superb meal typical of the Elizabethan/Tudor era provided by the Eastbury Hotel, a band of Tudor Musicians with period instruments and a Dance group, all in Costume. Many of the guests will be in costume, though it's not essential. Proceeds go to the Yeatman Hospital and the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Charity, since it is Ralegh (his spelling) who is attributed with popularising tobacco. Doors open at 7:30 for an 8pm start on 6th October. Tel 01963251081 .for more details.
