WWI Role of Honour

At the start of the countrywide commemorations of World War one, the bell ringers began a four year cycle of a half muffled ring of the Milborne Port Church bells on the 100 year anniversary of the death of each person. This was supported by some intense research into each soldier and the short article that Naomi has written on each one has been and will continue to be highlighted on the news pages of this website and the Milborne Port magazine until the anniversary of the end of that conflict. In the meantime, the History and Heritage group has published the complete record of that research, which is available as a professionally printed booklet for a small fee.
